~  Eat fruits and veggies. ( Half your plate should be fruits and veggies.)

~ 1/2 the grain you intake should be whole grains.

~ Choose fat free or low fat 1% milk, yogurt and cheese.

~ Drink water. 

~ Choose lean sources of protein.

~ Pay attention to your sodium intake in foods like soup and frozen meals. ( Choose the food items with less sodium)

~ Incorporate seafood into your diet.

~ Pay attention to portion size.
