Are you a protective MAMA bear like this mama?

This mama sure knows how to hold her own... After a high speed chase pursues the gentleman trying to outrun the police crashes into a mini van at a fourway intersection where a mama in a mini van with her significant other and her son sat waiting for a red light to turn green. Suddenly her mini van was struck from behind. The mama in the mini van instinctivley jumped out of her vehicle and ran over to the vehicle that hit her giving the gentleman driving a piece of her mind not knowing that he was trying to outrun the police. Not onlly does she give him a piece of her mind she also takes things a step further by grabbing and fighting with him holding him there at the scene until the police rrive and put him under arrest. Wake up.. Wake up... it past 7:22.

Are you kidding I have to be to work in 8 minutes and it takes well over 15 to get to work.

I jump up throw jeans on and out the door I go for another day in the paradise I live. I get to work and do what needs to get done.

Today, thank god is hump day and I made it through half the week.

Why do I rush for the weekend.. Why do we rush through life?

Today I realized that this is why time is flying by like a hawk diving for its supper off the highway before his buddies get to it.

This is why everyone always says that the older you get the faster the time goes.

Well. Well.. Welll, I beleive I will sleep enough when the time comes that im called upon and in a box in the ground hiding from daylight.

No more over sleeping and rushing my life away. Instead im going to take in the day, enjoy each bit of it, look forward to going to work and all that jazz.

Yup, atleast a girl can try, right. lol

Well that I am, I am going to try to enjoy each part of each day and stop rushing for the weekend.

Now home from work, Im working on my focusing. I am going to work on one thing at a time off the list of a million and ten things that are all screaming my name.

Making my lists and checking them twice has been a key factor in keeping my focus where it needs to be.Yes, each time pick up the list dreading it more than the last time and hoping to fly through it but today i'm taking a differnt approach. Today I am going to slow down, review the list, enjoy reviewing the list, take my time and be thankful, happy and blessed.

Lifes too short as it is. Take a second, slow down, reevaluate and stop rushing through life. You dont have a rewind button and when your about to hit the end button to life you dont want to be saying, that was it, there's nothing more or man, I wish I had done things differntly.

A new year is here... 2015 Holy cow, can u even believe it?? Last year was an intense year, it was a year full of so many thoughts, plans, dreams and goals. I'm calling it my year of clutter and now that it's a new year it's time to get organized, de clutter and get focused. This is going to be my year to accomplish some of my goals by focusing directly on just a couple. NO cluttering the brain. How am I going to do this one might ask... well that is a learning curve and I'm going to learn to do this as I go. I will share what seems to be working and what makes the brain clutter worse. I'm hoping all of you will also help me on this journey and fill me full of knowledge and suggestions that have worked for you. I'm ready to build up this site, build up myself and build stairs to reach them goals. I'm ready. Let's do this. Ready, set go. 2015 I'm going to own you. Here's to a year of health, wealth, happiness and love. Cheers~?????????

Feeling Down.. What I did/do to help stress, anxiety.

Not everyday can be a good day, a great day or even an OK day. Sometimes, somedays are just bad, bad crummy days. We all have those down days for differnt reasons. Some due to family troubles, some due to finances, others becasue of realationship problems or a bad day at work. We all have our "days". When they come about and you fell like there is no way to feel better and that nothing will help try some of the suggestions that I am about to share.

~ Pull out the journal and write your feeling's down with a checklist of what is going to make your troubles subside. This visual list will help prompt you to start checking off what needs to be done to feel better.

~ My down times are the times I feel that I get the best workout or run in. If your feeling the blues throw on some workout clothes and slap some sneakers on your feet. Hit your favorite go to spot. With each step you take or weight you lift let your body release the negative energy that has been consuming you and bringing you down. By the end of this run or workout you should feel refreshed and accomplished. 

~Give yourself a makeover. Even if you have no where to go treat yourself somewhere. Get up, get dressed up to the max, go beyond the norm. Let yourself wear something super flattering that you wouldnt generally wear, Sport those heels you only break out on special occasions and treat yourself out. If you find having someone with you helps call your BFF and express that this is one of those times where she or he is needed and go break loose, get rid of the negative and have fun. Its ok to allow yourself to have fun and feel good even if your emotions and life struggles make you feel like you shouldnt. IT IS OK. It what you need. Not allowing yourself to have fun and feel good will only just keep you in the dumps. 

Me personally after having a miserable day yesturday when everything seemed to pile up beyond what I could handle. I went for a run, after returning from a 2 mile run I broke out the journal and released the remainder of my frustration onto paper with my list of what would make me feel better. After getting what I feel like was most of the negative out of me onto the street and paper I felt relieved. Better.

Wow- what a slap in the face. MOTIVATED

Today I ran my BMI on the calculator link I have posted to my page and it states that I am very much obese :( nothing like a slap in the face. It is pure motivation for me to continue this journey and work hard to get in better shape. I do not appear obese but looks are decieving. I do suggest only steping on the scale every couple weeks. I have found that the more I stepped on the scale the harder it was to actually loose the weight. I am going to share my body measurments with all of you and will continue to update everyone on my progress bringing those numbers down. Well here we GO: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol

Arm- 13.5 in.

Chest- 39 in.


Thigh- 25.5 in.

Stom.- 37.5 in.

Butt- 42 In.

Neck- 14.5

Theres no stopping me. Motivated more than I have ever been.

I have started this blog and website in hopes of sharing my favorite weight loss and fitness advise and pointers that I have found to work the BEST! I am really EXCITED FOR THIS NEW journey and excited to learn from others and help others along the way. I am excited to be sharing my journey with everyone who may be going through the same struggles as myself. I am a young 26 year old who has dealt with many obstacles the last few years. Fitness seems to be what I always turn to. It is my true happy place. Nothing is better than after a long stressful day hitting the gym or going for a nice jog at your favorite outdoor location. Ex: A trail, the beach, a track near your home, etc.. The possiblities are endless. Life is what you make it.  As my journey continues you will learn more and more about me and who I am and hopefully leave here with some encourgment and advise to help yourself.
